Global Relationship Manager, up to £70,000 plus bonus and benefits Full Time


Our client is as at the forefront of the vendor management solution market, and are continuing to grow at an impressive rate. They have an exciting opportunity for an Account Relationship Manager to join their team


The Role:

As an Account Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for the development and direction of some of our key strategic UK accounts. You will own key upsell opportunities within your client portfolio and be responsible for designing a strategy that enables the account to successfully expand. Depending on bandwidth, a key part of the role will also be developing and managing relationships with our key MSP partners. This will involve building relationships with key sales contacts and ensuring these contacts are kept up to date with the latest features of the company’s solution. A key focus will be on becoming a trusted advisor with the client and/or partner.


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Demonstrate deep product and market knowledge to clients and partners to give confidence on our capacity to deliver on its promises
  • Develop a strategy for key clients in region including ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Develop and close upsell opportunities with these clients
  • Be seen as an expert and consultant to prospect, client and partners
  • Be seen as an expert and consultant to prospect, client and partners
  • Build relationships with key MSP partner contacts and particularly Solution Engineers and ensure they have up-to-date knowledge on the product
  • As required, support new RFPs for prospects within region & support Direct Sales team as needed with content and material for presentations

Requisite Experience: Formal Qualifications and Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in articulating the value of (SaaS) technology to potential buyers
  • The ideal candidate has business experience & knowledge with as many as the following:
    o SaaS business applications solutions
    o ERP
    o e-procurement platforms, VMS, ATS and / or HR management platform
    o Procurement / procurement departments in multinational companies
    o Understanding of the HR and/ or Contingent Workforce Management markets including MSP and RPO

  • High level of initiative, plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction – Self Starter – Self driven
  • Technical competence (understand software, processes, integrations etc)
  • Very good presentation skills / Used to present in front of senior/executive audiences
