European Sales and Business Development Lead Full Time

After sustained and continued growth in the US and Asian markets, one of our clients, a
procurement technology company, is looking to expand their business by establishing a
permanent office in Europe (London).

They are looking for a Sales Leader with proven new business development skills to
drive expansion and growth and play a lead role building the team as they grow their
European operation.

Our client provides cloud based procurement technology (p2p) to clients predominantly
in the hospitality sector (major hotel and restaurant chains).
They operate globally with many of the leading brands in the sector and have a
significant client portfolio in Europe. You will drive both new business and develop
existing client accounts and may have some involvement in the initial service delivery.
The role is a rare opportunity to be pivotal in establishing what to some extent will be a
“new business” but with the advantage of being able to utilise their global resources
and an existing client base that is second to none.

Some of your key responsibilities will include, but won’t be limited to:

  • Own and control the end to end sales cycles from lead generation to closing
    contractual agreements
  • Identify new leads and draw the attention of key contacts at potential customers
  • Identify opportunities to develop new revenue streams with existing clients and
    within their franchise or partner networks
  • Develop market leading solutions and presentations to achieve revenue targets
  • Build and maintain effective relationships
  • Build an effective pipeline of sales leads and revenue opportunities
  • Build and lead the team

The successful candidate will have the following skills:

  • At least 5 years of previous software solution sales experience in cloud based
    procurement technology
  • It will be ideal to have some experience in the hospitality or services sector or
    alternatively you will have sold software solutions into it
  • A strong understanding and experience of procurement and procurement
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in verbal and written
  • Willingness to travel across Europe

it grows. This is also an opportunity to progress in the vibrant and rapidly expanding
market of e-procurement.
